*FREE - Explore Cow Town, Historic Downtown Kissimmee  Lakefront Park entertains families with a fountain
splash pool and a caboose selling snacks and ice cream.  The Monument of States, delivers a free and easy geography
lesson, made of minerals from every state and many nations. The Monument of States offers every visitor a chance to
find a piece of home while on vacation.   Constructed of 1,500 stones brought from each of the 50 states and 22 foreign
countries. The monument was built in 1943 and was paid for by local citizens.  From there you can walk to the stores
and eateries of pretty downtown, decorated with murals depicting Kissimmee's cow-town heritage.

Thursday-Friday 10 am - 2 pm, and Sunday 1-4.
 No admission fee. Donations accepted.   The mission of the new
St. Cloud Heritage Museum is to preserve historic records and artifacts of organizations and individuals involved in the
history of St. Cloud.  The museum currently features photographs, historic records and a variety of artifacts from
veterans of the St. Cloud area, the Woman’s Club of St. Cloud, the St. Cloud Garden Club, the New York/New Jersey
Club, and other groups and individuals involved in St. Cloud and its history.  A growing collection of documents and
artifacts on the early history of St. Cloud includes copies of the Robert A. Fisk collection of postcards and photographs
and the Pat McMullen collection of postcards of early St. Cloud.  The series of articles by Robert A. Fisk on the history
of St. Cloud which have appeared in St. Cloud In the News are also included in the museum collection.  The museum is
housed in the historic Veterans Memorial Library  which was built by the Woman’s Club in 1922 and named to honor the
Civil War veterans who founded St. Cloud.  The building previously served as the town’s library which was operated by
the Woman’s Club for over 50 years.

The 50 acre  luxurious gardens were the creation of the late Harry P. Leu and his wife Mary Jane, who acquired the
property and home in 1936. A tour of the home explain how they transformed the 1898 farmhouse into a rich man's
estate.  In the heart of the gardens is the Leu House Museum, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
